Welcome to the Missing Foundation
Your first port of call if you have someone who has gone missing,
for whatever reason, in the UK or anywhere else in the world.
We are here to speed the solution.
Our role is to co-ordinate services, organisations and other charities, across national and international borders, and as such we are unique in the area of Missing Persons. We are not in competition with other "missing" charities, we guide you to them. We speed the solution, with the right advice at the right time.
The triggers that cause people to go missing today are hugely varied. They can involve abduction, family breakdown, cultural differences, crime, people trafficking, depression, alcohol or drug problems, Alzheimer's, debt, accidents, or just that an adult person has the right to go missing, and should be left to make that choice.
If someone in your life has gone missing, we are ready to take your call on our 24 hour, 7 days a week Advice Line. We listen, we care and we give expert advice, based on years of experience, to pinpoint the specific help for your specific circumstances. Identifying the reason, pointing the anxious caller to the right source of help with a minimum of delay can make all the difference to the outcome.
Your call is treated as confidential, our advice is free.
THE MISSING FOUNDATION links with specialised, dedicated organisations around the world, from International Foreign Office departments, to children’s charities, and all authorities across the spectrum of "missing".
